Ok, so this will be the Archive section for News. In this
section I will keep all the news updates logged into the site
so that if someone wants to look at previous updates they can

SOOOOO...here we are.The Site is up....the word has been sent out..now we need to
start getting some Images and Words and get this thing flying. Dede is working
diligently on Family tree info and has gotten quite a bit done. She is sending me some
Family History information surrounding the Brothers Three (Pete, William and Cor)
and when it arrives (which should coincide with Dad and Lynda coming back from AK) I
will work some digital magic and get it online. I am still needing to get in touch with
or access information on how to get in touch with Doug and Debbie's kids and the
family in that region, I also am hoping to get info on Wayne and Betty's group, all the
brothers and sisters there and cousins and nieces and nephews and the list goes on
and on. So start sending stuff you guys and gals...lets get this beast off the ground
and see where it takes us.IF someone from Idsinga.com, or Idsinga.net runs across
this site, please feel free to contact the admin of the site so we can establish some
kind of link. We all hail from Holland and there has to be a connection somewhere that
ties us ALL in together. Lets find that common thread and weave a great tapestry of
story and history from family members everywhere.Ok...thats all for now, make sure

ALRIGHT!!!
Pictures have been added to the site. There are some easy navigation buttons that
will allow you to go from page to page and back again. Check em all out and dig out
your digital prints and send them..bust out those old snapshots and get em digitized
and send them so we can get them up here on the site.

SUCCESS.....I tracked down Doug Jr in Portales NM, and spoke to him on the phone
this morning. I'm sure he's thinking "this guy is a nut!!!" , but we're
Idsinga's..we're all nuts!I sent him an email (a copy of what I sent to you all
initially) and asked him to forward it to all of Doug and Debbie's kids, and anyone else
he has access to. I am looking forward to hearing from ALL of them and getting info
and pics to put up here on the site. I have been working on the new version of the site
and it's coming together nicely. Working on the existing version has been excellent
practice. As soon as I have an amount equal to what is already up, I'll publish the new
version and get it out there for you ALL to see. OK, send them pictures and
histories and all that good stuff, any geneology stuff you have too.Hope to hear from
you all soon,

Hey All...I have spoken briefly in email with Dawn (Doug and Deb's oldest girl) and
she is getting some stuff together to send, will have it soon, she also provided me
with info on birthdates and all that good stuff. Heard from Lisa on her groups
birthdates and am still waiting on the rest. Talked to Dede briefly yesterday, her and
Jerry Ray had a great time camping with Dad and Linda and I KNOW linda just
spoiled JR royally.. (Ahh the life of a grandma)Dede told me that from Noah David
backwards, she has 18 generations, so that goes back in Holland, I have seen some of
it before, but I cant wait to see it all. Stephen and I have talked a few times in
email and its always good to hear from him. Ok, I think I am going to hold off on
additions to the site until I have more pictures from everyone else and I also want to
save the vast majority for family tree type photo albums online..the concept I have is
going to take some work but I think it will be awesome. Time will tell. Also planning a
Birthday Calendar so everyone knows when everyone's Bdays are and thinking about a
Where Are We? Map...going to try to set it up so its fairly interactive. We shall see.
Well Im off, no new updates other than this here little tidbit of new. Dont forget,
anyone wanting an Idsinga.us email address, let me know..we have about 196 left.
Ok..I'm gone.

So I talked to Dede in detail today and she sent me the first part of the family tree
info....WOW is all I can say. Back 18 generations ...all the way back to 1580..its
extremely intersting to know that the family line goes back so far..and you know it
goes farther, its a matter of finding them all...VERY COOL.She has pictures and
information and will be sending me it all soon ..and once I get it all into a flow chart
I'll get it up here for you all to see.She mentioned that most of what she has she got
from Billie Ann, Uncle (to me) Bill's oldest daughter, and with that info I can connect
it to the New Mexico Idsinga's and probably use it to connect to the Idsinga's that
I have read about in Michigan, Ontario and other areas in the midwest and north.
VERY EXCITING. Talked via email with Kim (Uncle Bob and Aunt Netty's
daughter..in the Pictures section with daughter Cara on a California safari) and she
will be sending stuff soon..Also sent Karen, (Uncle Bob's youngest) an email and hope
to hear from her soon. Ok...I am gone for now. Thinking of adding additional picture
galleries and then using the Family Tree flow chart to move into areas of each
individual family..again the ideas I have for it are very interesting and we'll just
have to see how it works out. Well me is am gone....

HEY ALL...Added a geneology page which traces the family line back to 1580, the
information is incomplete, but its a GOOD Start.As I fill up the NEWs Section, I
am planning on moving old information into an Archive. I will build links to it so that
anyone can see the information from the start, and the most current news will be
here on this page. I Added another couple of photo pages and am still waiting on
pictures from everyone so I can add them into the galleries and start building Family
pages. I will do that as the data becomes available. Look around, as promised the site
is growning, check back often.

Ok...so I moved all the news thats been here for the last few weeks into
a file and will be creating a news Archive so that everyone can access all
the news flashes since the site started...I'll have that up soon. I will be
out of dodge this weekend so this will mostlikely be the last update until
after the weekend.
I got an email; thru the site from Julie Vermeer, second daughter of
Pete and Billie Anne DeVries, but when I responded to her email, but it
bounced back at me. Julie, please write back and if you have an alternate
email let us know so we can get in touch with you and let you know how to
get pics and stuff up on the site.
Oh..and Happy Birthday to Uncle Walt, thats today, 08/22/07.
